Cells and A1 notation

A spreadsheet is a grid of cells, and every cell has a name made of its column letter and row number. The top-left cell is A1. The one to its right is B1. Fourth column, third row? D3.

It feels basic, but formulas, charts and automations all point at cells by name. Learn to read the grid like coordinates and everything later gets easier.
