Split the dinner bill
The task
Four friends, one check. Build a calculator that splits it fairly, then change any input and watch every number follow.
- Work out the taxIn B6, multiply the subtotal by the tax rate.
- Work out the tipIn B7, calculate the tip. Tip on the subtotal, before tax.
- Add it all upIn B8, total the subtotal, tax and tip.
- Split itIn B9, divide the total by the number of people and round to cents with ROUND.
